Promotion of tourist offer of Gracanica at the International Tourism Fair in Belgrade

Tourism organization of Gracanica participated this year at the International Tourism Fair in Belgrade, which lasted from 18th until 21st of February, at the stand of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija. During fair, the tourist offer of Gracanica has been promoted; tourism agencies and potential tourists informed regarding attractions and about how can they visit Gracanica. The stand was well visited and the visitors had the opportunity to buy souvenirs from Gracanica. Many questions have been asked and one of the most common was the issue about the tourist’s security. Already at fair, it has been announced many tourists visits to Gracanica and religious monuments in Kosovo.
Within the presentation of Gracanica tourist offer on Saturday, 20th of February ware: Ognjiste restaurant which presented traditional cuisine, business woman association Avenija which presented folk costume and crafts, as well as an exhibition of paintings is organized by Jelena Petrovic, on the theme of Cultural Heritage of Kosovo. Etno Kuca restaurant participated in the presentation and association of persons with disabilities from Gracanica.
Representatives of Tourism Organization of Gracanica ware guests in TV show “Zikina Sarenica” on Serbian national TV station. Jelena Trajkovic on behalf of TOG, appearing in Sarenica represented the tourist offer of Gracanica and emphasized that the biggest tourist potentials of Kosovo and Metohija are cultural-historical monuments and religious monuments and invited all tourists to visit municipality of Gracanica where is situated one of the most beautiful monastery which is under UNESCO protection, monastery of Gracanica.
This year’s Tourism Fair had a record number of visitors; the fair is visited by more than 70.000 people and attended by 1.153 presenters from 55 countries.
